General information on the paraboline in Italy
Alpha Pharma's Parabolin is administered intramuscularly and contains trenbolone hexahydrobenzylcarbonate. Trenbolone is a fast-acting injectable steroid.
To increase its half-life efficacy, Trenbolone is not used in the raw form, but rather is administered as Trenbolone Acetate, Enanthate, or Hexahydrobenzylcarbonate. Trenbolone is then produced as a metabolite by the reaction of these compounds with the androgen receptor.
Characteristics of the paraboline in Italy
Bodybuilders are known to use the drug to gain body mass more effectively than weight training alone. A normal bodybuilding dose can range from 200mg/week to 1400mg/week. Due to the relatively short metabolic half-life of trenbolone acetate, the dosage commonly needs to be divided into injections at least once every other day. Trenbolone enanthate can be injected once a week.
The 2006 book The Game of Shadows claims that baseball superstar Barry Bonds used this drug in 2001, when he set the current record for home runs in a single season.
The effects of taking Parabolin in Italy
Trenbolone compounds have a binding affinity for the androgen receptor three times that of testosterone. Once metabolized, drugs have the effect of increasing nitrogen uptake by the muscles, leading to an increased rate of protein synthesis. It also has the side effect of stimulating appetite, reducing the amount of fat deposited in the body, and slowing the rate of catabolism.Trenbolone has proven popular with anabolic steroid users as it is not metabolized by aromatase or 5 beta reductase into estrogenic compounds such as estradiol or DHT.
This also means that it does not cause water retention normally associated with highly androgenic compound steroid medications, such as testosterone or methandrostenolone. It is also loved by many for the dramatic strength gains commonly associated with it. Some short-term side effects include insomnia, high blood pressure, increased aggression and libido. However, since women suffer from virilization effects even in small doses, this drug should not be taken by a woman. The wisdom/urban myth in bodybuilding culture states that use of the drug for long periods of time can lead to kidney damage.
Kidney toxicity has yet to be proven, and the scientific evidence supporting the idea is suspect, absent from the bodybuilding community that perpetuates this idea. The origin of this myth probably has to do with the rust-colored oxidized metabolites of trenbolone, which are excreted in the urine and are often mistaken for blood.
